Eligibilty Criteria:
In order to be eligible for a grant, applicants must show the following:
-Must be a Master or PhD students enrolled in an African university *
-Must be in good academic performance (with at least a B overall, or equivalent, stand)
The Scholarship Essay Contest proposed research must be original and timely and should be level with AI thematic area of conflict resolution, energy, food security, health, and migration, with particular attention to cross-sectoral issues of climate change
Note: Eligibility is based on existing agreements between universities in Canada and Africa. * Students from select African universities have the right to conduct research at Canadian universities are appropriate **
